Shifora is a web app first. The Android build adds proper push notifications, a call-style ring at appointment time, and picture-in-picture during a consultation.

On the web

Works in any modern browser, on a phone, a tablet or a computer. Nothing to install, and always the current version.

Installing the Android app

The app is not on the Play Store, so Android will ask for permission once before it installs. This is normal for a directly distributed app.

    Download the APK on your Android phone.

    Open it. Android will ask whether to allow installing apps from this source — allow it for your browser.

  3. 3

    Install, then open Shifora and sign in with the Google account your practice or your doctor knows.

Where Shifora does not run

  • There is no iPhone or iPad app. iOS users can use Shifora in Safari or any other browser.
  • There is no installable offline app. Shifora needs a connection — the exception is patient reports, which stay readable once opened.
  • The Android app is distributed directly by us, not through the Play Store.
