For clinics

More than one doctor. One shared record.

A clinic runs as a single practice: doctors sharing a patient database, and front-desk staff whose access stops exactly where it should.

How it works

  1. 1

    The clinic is one practice

Doctors, staff, patients, appointments and money all belong to a single practice. Everything a member sees is scoped to it.

  2. 2

    Doctors are added to it

On the Clinic plan a practice can hold more than one practising doctor, working from the same patient database rather than separate silos.

  3. 3

    Staff are invited

A front-desk account is invited by email. Seats are limited by the plan, and the limit is enforced rather than suggested.

  4. 4

The front desk gets one screen

Today, upcoming, and appointments that can be rebooked, with a slot picker. Deliberately one screen — there is nothing else for it to do.

  5. 5

    Their boundary is real

An assistant cannot open patient records, prescriptions, reports, analytics, the wallet or settings. This is enforced in the database, not by hiding menu items.

  6. 6

    Actions are attributable

A cancellation by an assistant always requires a reason and is always recorded as theirs. You can see who did what, and why.

In more detail

A shared patient database

A patient who saw one doctor at the clinic is the same patient when they see another. Their history does not restart.

One booking link per practice

Patients choose the doctor at booking, or arrive on a link already tied to one.

Availability per doctor

Each doctor keeps their own weekdays, hours and slot length. The clinic is not forced onto one timetable.

Role-based access

Owner, doctor and assistant roles decide what each member can reach — checked on the server for every request.

Isolation between practices

Another clinic cannot read your patients. That boundary is a rule on every table, not a filter in the app.

Grow without changing plan

A single capability from a higher tier can be enabled for your practice on request, and time-limited if it is a trial.

What this does not do

Written down so you find out here rather than three weeks in.

  • Departments, a dedicated reception dashboard, and clinic-wide analytics are on the roadmap and are not available yet.
  • Multiple doctors require the Clinic plan or above. Starter, Professional and Ultimate each cover one practising doctor.
  • There is no per-doctor revenue split. The wallet and payouts belong to the practice.
  • The admin side of Shifora is operated by our team — a clinic does not get its own platform console.
  • Custom domains for a practice are not available yet.

Why "the receptionist cannot see records" is a real statement.

In most software it means the menu item is hidden. Hide a menu item and the data is still one guessed address away.

Here the restriction sits on the data itself. An assistant account asking the database for a patient record gets nothing back, regardless of what the app requests or how the request is shaped. The same rule blocks them from touching the call state of an appointment, and forces a cancellation to carry their name and a reason.

It is the difference between a boundary and a suggestion — and it is the one you want when the person at the desk changes every few months.
